Cyclical Gardening Therapy® CGT®
What it is
Cyclical Gardening Therapy® is a whole self eco somatic modality. We use the living arc of a seed to help you notice, feel, and choose. The garden becomes a mirror. The work becomes embodied.
Core idea
The seed holds a blueprint of longing. In CGT®, we cultivate the loam of the self so that longing can root, rise, and bloom.
The CGT® arc
Survey. Tend. Ripen. Bloom.
-
Survey awareness and conditions.
-
Tend safety, nourishment, and boundaries.
-
Ripen sensual presence and self belonging.
-
Bloom erotic opening and relational unfolding.
Principles
-
Potential Plot: the pre loam self ecosystem you cultivate before growth.
-
Inevitability Principle of Bloom™: bloom becomes likely when safety and yearning take root.
Why it helps
It slows the work down to the body’s pace. It builds regulation, choice, and capacity. It creates gentle distance so hard things feel workable.
How sessions work
Evidence guided and human first. We blend CGT® with mindfulness based CBT, EMDR-informed resourcing, sex therapy, sound therapy, Reiki, and other transpersonal and somatic techniques. Sessions feel calm, clear, and doable. Your pace. Measured together.
Optional home practice
We often invite you to grow a simple plant from seed. You keep a light journal of sensations, mood, images, and insights. Journaling can be words, drawings, photos, or voice notes.
For whom
Individuals, partners, and relationship constellations seeking grounded change. Inclusive and welcoming, including LGBTQIA+, kink, and poly informed and affirming care.
Settings
Available in virtual psychotherapy. CGT® intensives and retreats are offered periodically.
Note
Cyclical Gardening Therapy® is integrative. It complements, and does not replace, medical or psychiatric care.

At Zen’n’ish® sound is more than background. It becomes a gentle co-therapist that helps your nervous system soften, settle, and remember what calm can feel like.
Drawing from formal sound healer training and clinical experience, LaKisha “KiKi” Hudson, PhD, weaves together therapeutic sound, breath, and intention to support deep rest, emotional release, and grounded presence.
Sound sessions can stand alone as a wellness service or be thoughtfully paired with psychotherapy, when appropriate.🌿
What a Sound Therapy session may include
-
A curated soundscape using instruments such as singing bowls, monochord, hand drum, rain drum, shaker, and chimes
-
Gentle use of specific frequencies and tones to invite relaxation and nervous system regulation
-
Brief guided grounding or breathwork to help you arrive in your body and in the moment
-
Intention setting at the start and quiet integration time at the end
-
Options for virtual sound journeys, so you can rest in your own space
You remain fully clothed and are invited to sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Your only “job” is to receive. ✨
How Sound Therapy can support you
-
Easing stress, tension, and sensory overwhelm
-
Supporting anxiety, burnout, and compassion fatigue
-
Deepening rest for those who struggle to “turn off” their mind
-
Gently reconnecting with your body after periods of numbness or overdrive
-
Complementing trauma work, grief, or life transitions with a nonverbal, soothing modality
Sound Therapy at Zen’n’ish® is a complementary wellness service and does not replace medical care or psychotherapy. When helpful, it can be thoughtfully integrated with clinical therapy to support your whole-self healing.
You bring your tired mind and tender body.
Together, we let the sound settle into the loam and invite your system to exhale. 🎶🌱
